Nurse Manager Course Begins in March!

       The 34.5 contact hour program will be held from March 2 – June 22, 2012.  It focuses on core concepts, contemporary theories and management strategies. Topics included: organizational leadership and management theory, the role of the nurse manager, decision making/problem solving/critical thinking skills, team building, motivating/empowering/coaching staff, performance appraisal, staffing and scheduling, financial management and human resources management.   
      Patricia Haynor PhD, RN, NHA is the facilitator.  As an assoiate professor at Villanova University and working nurse administrator, she provides years of hands on experience and examples of how to incorporate management theoy into nursing practice.  Register Now!
